OVERVIEW
This website and the Paige™ ecosystem are operated by kiloBryte Inc. Throughout the site and the App, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to kiloBryte Inc. kiloBryte Inc. offers this website, the Paige™ Companion App, and the Paige™ hardware frame, all powered by the Paige API, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.
ā
By purchasing a Paige frame, downloading our App, or activating subscription features, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms.
SECTION 1 - THE PAIGE™ INFRASTRUCTURE
The Service is a unified system composed of:
-
The Paige API: The core proprietary backend service that facilitates all data transfer, call routing, and feature logic.
-
The Paige™ frame: The hardware "client" that receives and executes features via the API.
-
The Paige Connect™ companion App: The mobile "client" (iOS/Android) used to manage the frame via the API.
-
Paige Cloud™: The administrative interface used by kiloBryte Inc. staff to monitor API health and provide technical support.
ā
SECTION 2 - LICENSE & API USAGE
-
Proprietary Rights: The Paige API, the App, and the software embedded in the hardware are the exclusive intellectual property of kiloBryte Inc.
-
Limited License: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to access the Paige API only through the official Paige™ hardware and companion App.
-
Prohibited Acts: You may not attempt to access the Paige API directly (e.g., via "scraping," reverse-engineering, or third-party scripts) or use it to develop competing products. Unauthorized API calls will result in immediate termination of Service.
ā
SECTION 3 - ADMINISTRATIVE ACCESS (PAIGE CLOUD™)
To maintain the security and functionality of the API, kiloBryte Inc. utilizes Paige Cloud™.
ā
-
Support & Maintenance: Authorized staff use this interface to enable subscription features, update frame firmware, and troubleshoot API connectivity issues.
-
Data Integrity: All administrative interactions with user data are strictly governed by our Privacy Policy and are logged for security auditing.
SECTION 4 - SUBSCRIPTIONS & FEATURE ACTIVATION
-
API-Driven Features: Certain capabilities are enabled on the hardware via API commands. These require an active, paid subscription.
-
Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled.
-
Lapse of Service: If a subscription expires, the Paige API will restrict the frame's access to premium features, reverting the hardware to its basic state.
ā
SECTION 5 - SECURITY (OTP AUTHENTICATION)
Passwordless Login: All access to the Paige API through the App is secured via Google One-Time Password (OTP).
No Stored Passwords: Because we do not use or store passwords, we rely on your ability to secure the email/phone used for OTP codes.
SECTION 6 - CALL DATA & RELIABILITY
Logging: The Paige API logs call metadata (duration/participants) to provide history and ensure call quality.
ā
Connectivity Disclaimer: Service reliability is dependent on the Paige API's communication with your home Wi-Fi.
We are not liable for outages caused by local network failures or third-party internet providers.
ā
ā
SECTION 7 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Service is provided 'as is'. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the hardware or the most recent 12 months of subscription fees.
ā
SECTION 8 - GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada.
SECTION 9 - CONTACT INFORMATION
